The event
Spring 2025 will witness the inauguration of a new biennial trade event for the European facade industry, centered on circularity, digitalisation, and industrialisation: Future Facade. Organised by the partnership comprising Royal Jaarbeurs, European Facade Network, TU Delft, and TU Darmstadt, the event aims to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice. Future Facade will include an international conference on circularity, keynote sessions, and workshops targeting architects, consultants, contractors, and construction companies.
Scheduled for May 7-8, 2025, the event will showcase products, materials, systems, innovations, and experiments in the building envelope sector, fostering international knowledge sharing and cooperation.
The conference
TU Delft, TU Darmstadt, and the European Facade Network are organising a concurrent international conference on circularity during Future Facade. Keynote speakers, including Ulrich Knaack from TU Delft, will present the latest developments in circular facades.
Knaack emphasizes that Future Facade will elevate the European facade industry by integrating innovation, knowledge, and networking in one central location. The event and conference will serve as an incubator for transformative ideas and innovations, shaping the future of circular building design and construction.
