Eurac Research
Eurac Research is an advanced, private non-profit research and training centre established in 1992 with headquarters in Bolzano, in the North of Italy, with more than 500 staff members of different nationalities. EURAC activities include national and international research and technical assistance projects including direct cooperation with public and private clients. The Institute for Renewable Energy of Eurac Research collaborates with industry partners on technological innovations and advises decision-makers on setting the course for the transformation of entire systems to become carbon-neutral. It comprises six research groups: Energy Efficient Buildings, Photovoltaic Energy Systems, Sustainable Heating and Cooling Systems, Urban and Regional Energy Systems, Energy Retrofit of Historic Buildings, Overall Energy System Modelling and e-Mobility.
