With a historical background tracing almost 250 years, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) is an institution that plays a leading role in science, technology, arts and sports. İTÜ aims to be the center of science, which connects the past to the present by producing projects for the future.
ITU Facade Research Group, 13 academicians from different disciplines provide education at an international level, in accordance with national requirements, knowledge and skills in the fields of design-production-production/installation, performance evaluation and management of facade systems and shows how to use the gained knowledge in practice. The group also aims at educating professionals who have creative and innovative thinking in terms of theory and practice in the fields of design-production-construction/assembly, performance evaluation and management of facade systems so that the Turkish facade sector can maintain its competitiveness around the world.
